Claude games: the games Opus 5.5 and Fable 5.1 built (play them)

Games made by Claude from one prompt each: a physics toy, a 3D shooter and a one-lane MOBA, built by Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Fable 5.1 in Claude Code, unedited and playable in your browser.

These are games Claude made, start to finish, from a single prompt each. Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Fable 5.1 each built three games in Claude Code, a physics toy, a 3D shooter and a one-lane MOBA, and nobody touched the code afterwards. Six games, all playable in your browser.

Iron Tide (Opus 5.5) and Duskfall (Fable 5.1): the same 40 seconds of scripted input in each.

What games did Claude make?

Three genres, built twice.

  • A 3D shooter. Opus 5.5 built Iron Tide, an arena in a neon city at night with a minimap, a pulse carbine and waves of enemies; it was still polishing when our 150-minute limit arrived. Fable 5.1 built Duskfall, a rooftop arena under a violet sky, in 75 minutes; its player survives our whole 40-second script.
  • A one-lane MOBA. Both Claude models called theirs Riftline. Opus 5.5's opens on a stone plaza with a glowing rune circle, sends you down a lamp-lit forest lane against an enemy hero called Vexis, and has a shop and a beam ultimate called Oblivion Ray; it used the full 150 minutes, and its hero survives our 60-second script. Fable 5.1's Riftline is a bright low-poly pine forest with a river crossing, a glowing base, a shop and gold and creep-score counters, and a hero whose abilities run Arc Bolt, Frost Nova, Blink Step and Starfall. It took 131 minutes and fourteen script files.
  • A physics toy. Both built twenty glossy numbered balls bouncing in a glowing hexagon that turns once every ten seconds, with the physics written from scratch. Fable's is the smallest file on the site at 15 KB.

How do Claude's games compare with ChatGPT's?

Richer, slower and costlier. The Claude games have more lighting, more effects and more systems, such as Fable's shop and Opus's minimap, and they are much bigger programs: Claude's shooters and MOBA run to nine files or more, against two to five for the GPT versions. They also took far longer: the GPT models built their versions in 8 to 25 minutes. Under our scripted input both vendors' heroes sometimes die, Opus's shooter player at 25 seconds and Fable's MOBA hero to a tower at 56. See the other side in ChatGPT games.

How do you make a game with Claude?

With Claude Code and a precise brief. Ours specify the genre, the controls, the systems, the camera and the win and lose conditions, plus technical rules such as using the provided three.js file and generating every asset in code. Copy the MOBA prompt or the shooter prompt, swap in your idea, and give Claude Code time: our Claude games took between 25 minutes and the full two and a half hours.

Frequently asked questions

Can Claude make a game?

Yes. Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Fable 5.1 each built a playable 3D shooter, a one-lane MOBA and a physics toy from one prompt each in Claude Code, with no human edits. You can play all six here.

How good are the games Claude made?

The most atmospheric on the site: neon and dusk lighting, effects, shops and minimaps. They also took the longest to build, from 25 minutes for a physics toy to more than two hours for a MOBA, and Opus 5.5 used our full 150-minute limit on its shooter.

Which Claude model is better for games?

Opus 5.5 built the most elaborate game worlds; Fable 5.1 finished its games inside the time limit and its shooter survived our whole scripted input. Both are far more ambitious than the GPT versions of the same games.

Did Claude make the art and sound too?

Yes, in code. The briefs allowed no asset files, so the models built 3D geometry with three.js, drew textures on a canvas and synthesised sound effects with the Web Audio API.
